Wild Monkey Breaks Into Home's Pool Enclosure

There have been some monkey business in Florida and it may be the same animal. The latest spotting of the runaway monkey in St. Petersburg is more of a close encounter. Renee Barth says she was at home in the Tropical Shores area of St. Petersburg recently when the monkey came running inside her pool enclosure. She said the monkey panicked after a little while and even fell into the pool while trying to escape. It finally went out the screen door it used to enter the enclosure, but not before Barth was able to snap a couple pictures. Wildlife officials suspect it's the same monkey that's been on the run for more than a year in the Tampa Bay-St. Pete area.
