Romanian Town Warns Drivers Of Drunks

A town in Romania is taking extra precautions to keep their inebriated residents safe. The "Daily Telegraph" is reporting that officials in Pecica have posted signs around town that read "Attention-Drunks." They also include a picture of a person crawling while holding onto a bottle of alcohol. The signs were posted in areas close to local bars and nightclubs. Pecica Mayor Peter Antal said the town had to take action due to the number of alcohol related accidents that have occurred. He explains, quote, "We must warn drivers that sometimes people who have little control over their actions can suddenly appear in the road." Residents of Pecica say they find the signs to be amusing.
