Phil Vassar To Make Australian Concert Debut

Phil Vassar is set to log another career first. The singer-songwriter is slated to make his concert debut in Australia this weekend. He'll be performing at the third annual "CMC Rocks The Snowys 2010" festival in Thredbo on Saturday. The Australian show follows Vassar's first European tour, a five-date trek he launched in late January. Vassar notes he's pleased he's able to continue presenting his music to international audiences, saying, quote, "I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to bring my music down under, especially right after touring Europe with great shows and fun crowds." He also adds, quote, "I've always wanted to visit Australia." Vassar is traveling in support of his most recent CD, "Traveling Circus."
