Gloriana "Grateful," "Honored" By ACM Nod

The members of Gloriana are thrilled to capture the Academy of Country Music's Top New Vocal Group of the Year title. Singer Cheyenne Kimball says she and her band mates are indebted to their followers, since the winner was determined by an online vote. She notes, quote, "We have the best fans anyone can ask for and we are so grateful to them for helping us win our first ACM award." In getting the nod for Top New Vocal Group Gloriana is now a nominee for the ACM's Top New Artist of the Year, and Gloriana's Tom Gossin adds that the group feels "so honored" to earn the bid. Gloriana's competition includes Luke Bryan, who was named the ACM's Top New Solo Vocalist of the Year, and Joey + Rory, who took Top New Vocal Duo of the Year.

Fans will also pick the ACM's Top New Artist. Balloting will begin at www.VoteACM.com on April 1st. The Top New Artist of the Year winner will be announced as part of the 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which will take place in Las Vegas and air on CBS on April 18th.
