Garth Brooks Quickly Sells Out Next 20 Vegas Shows

If you don't have your ticket to see Garth Brooks in Las Vegas in the coming months, you'll have to wait for his next round of shows. Tickets went on sale Saturday for the country superstar's next 20 shows at The Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas, and were completely sold out in a matter of hours. Those staffing the phones at the resort fielded more than 75-thousand calls from fans seeking tickets, while the Wynn's website received more than two-point-one-million visits. Brooks announced his open-ended engagement at the Wynn last fall. The run, expected to extend at least five years, includes performances 15 weekends a year. He launched his engagement in December, and he just wrapped up his fifth weekend of shows last night. Tickets were sold for Brooks' shows in March, April June, July, and August. The only way fans currently without tickets will be able to see these shows is if passes are returned or unclaimed. Brooks' next series of shows will be announced in a few months.
