Drunk Driving Day Care Provider Sentenced To Jail

A Wichita, Kansas day care operator was sentenced to six months in jail for driving a van full of young children while drunk. Judge Ted Griffith ordered 49-year-old Margaret Self of Derby to six months in jail and one year on probation for her second DWI conviction. At the time of her arrest, police records show her blood alcohol content was point-one-one-eight, well above the legal limit for drunk driving. She was arrested after taking several kids on a field trip.
