Trace Adkins is expected to resume his performing scheduled with his appearance at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Tuesday night. The singer, who's currently on tour with Martina McBride, bowed out of Sunday's show in Pensacola, Florida following a fatal crash Saturday involving his tour bus. The accident happened in Caddo Parish, Louisiana when a pickup truck crossed the center line and crashed head-on into the bus. Adkins wasn't on the bus at the time of the crash. However, both men in the truck were killed upon impact, and five people on the bus were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. After receiving word of the crash Adkins went to the scene in a van to pick up his band members who escaped injury, and then traveled to the hospital to check on those who were hurt.Adkins, a native of Sarepta, Louisiana, shared his feelings about the accident in a statement, saying, quote, "This is a real tragedy. Two people have been killed and I don't even know their names. So out of respect for their families, I prefer not to comment too much at this time." He did take part in Saturday's show in Bossier City, Louisiana, turning in a scaled-down acoustic set. McBride and opening act Sarah Buxton performed Sunday in Pensacola, Florida without Adkins.
