Strip Club Offers "Lap Dances For Haiti"

A gentlemen's club in Ohio is doing its part to help with the Haiti relief efforts. According to the "Toledo Blade," Marilyn's on Monroe raised one-thousand-dollars with last Saturday's "Lap Dances for Haiti" event. Lap dances are technically illegal in Ohio, so Marilyn's donated the money generated from the club's ten-dollar cover charge to International Services of Hope of Waterville. The club's owner, Kenny Soprano, remarks, quote, "We'd been racking our brains for about a month or so, thinking about what we could do. You don't hear much about strip clubs giving back to the community." Two sister clubs in the Detroit, Michigan area have scheduled similar fundraisers for the coming weeks.
