Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" Continues Chart Climb

Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" remains strong on the charts. Billboard.com says the song is perched at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, up from last week's number eight ranking. The accomplishment makes Lady A the first country band to hit the top three of the Hot 100 in a decade. Only Lonestar has done better, spending two weeks at number one on the Hot 100 in March 2000 with the hit "Amazed." Lady Antebellum's appearance at the GRAMMY Awards seemed to help fuel the group's chart climb, which is really reflected in the digital realm. Last week "Need You Now" had a 74-percent increase in downloads, logging a total of 212-thousand.

The boost makes "Need You Now" this week's Digital Gainer, and puts the song in the number two spot on Billboard's Digital Songs chart, following the Black Eyed Peas' "Imma Be."
