Student Uses Math Equation To Find Girlfriend
A PhD student in London is crunching numbers to find the love of his life. MyFoxLA.com reports that University of Warwick student Peter Backus has created a math formula to determine the likelihood that he will find a girlfriend. His equation starts with the number of women in England and then narrows it down by their age, education, and physical appeal. The Seattle native says the numbers don't exactly inspire confidence. He remarks, quote, "The probability of finding love in the UK is only about 100 times better than the probability of finding intelligent life in our galaxy." Fortunately for Backus, he recently found a London woman who, quote, "meets all my criteria."
