The late Johnny Cash's final recordings are on their way. RollingStone.com reports that the last material the country legend recorded before his September 2003 death will soon be released as the CD "American 6: Ain't No Grave." on February 26th, the date that would have marked the music man's 78th birthday. Rick Rubin, who worked with Cash on his "American" series, also produced the set's final volume. For "American 6" Cash covers Kris Kristofferson's "For The Good Times" and Sheryl Crow's 1990s track "Redemption Day." The disc also includes the original tune "I Corinthians: 15:55," a song that Cash penned during the last three years of his life. The "Man In Black" reportedly followed through on the "American" series even after the May 2003 death of his wife, June Carter Cash. Rubin commented in a statement, quote, "Johnny said that recording was his main reason for being alive. I think it was the only thing that kept him going."
