Man Burns Down House With Gasoline
A North Carolina man will want to be a little more careful the next time he decides to enjoy a fire. The "Charlotte Observer" reports that a Charlotte home suffered serious damage after a man used gasoline in his fireplace. The Saturday night flame took fire officials nearly 20 minutes to extinguish, and caused approximately 150-thousand-dollars in damage. The man was taken to a local hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. A firefighter also suffered minor injuries. Fire official Rob Brisley remarked, quote, "The male occupant made a very poor decision using gasoline." The home's residents are reportedly moving in with nearby relatives.
