Darryl Worley is combining his support for the troops and his love of football this week. The singer -- and U.S. Army veteran -- has been tapped to perform during the pre-game of the 10th annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He'll contribute "God Bless America" to this weekend's event. In addition, this week Worley is turning in a set at the 10th Anniversary Celebration and Awards dinner as well. NBC will broadcast the 10th Annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl, which will be played at the Alamodone in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday.On the musical front, Worley is getting ready to unveil a new single. "Best of Both Worlds," from his most recent CD "Sounds Like Life," is expected to arrive on January 25th. It's the third release from the album, following "Tequila on Ice" and "Sounds Like Life to Me."
