The romance is reportedly over between Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough. An unnamed source tells "People" magazine the country couple have split up. The source calls it a "mutual" decision, explaining, quote, "They needed some time apart." Wicks and Hough met in 2008 when they were both openers on Brad Paisley's summer tour. Over the course of the trek they became an item. Earlier this year Hough, who is also a professional dancer, was paired with Wicks to compete on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." They ended their run on the show in sixth place. At that time, Wicks and Hough were also contemplating marriage. Back in April Wicks told TVGuide.com that a wedding was, quote, "definitely in the future," noting that they often discussed taking "the next step" which would happen "in due time."Both Wicks and Hough are expected at the 43rd annual Country Music Association Awards show. Wicks is slated to take part in "Entertainment Tonight's" red carpet coverage of the event, while Hough is scheduled to appear as a presenter during the ceremony. The 43rd annual CMA Awards will air on ABC Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
