Janet Jackson is fronting the bills to Forest Lawn Cemetery for her brother Michael's funeral. TMZ.com reports Janet signed the "initial contract" with Forest Lawn for their mortuary services -- to the tune of more than 103-thousand-dollars. She paid nearly 50-grand of that up front. But ultimately she won't be bearing the financial burden for the funeral. The special administrators of Michael's will have permission to reimburse Janet for the money she has already spent, and cover the rest of the balance. The total funeral costs at Forest Lawn come to 855-thousand-730-dollars-and-31-cents, so Janet's portion of the bill is actually just a small chunk. The most expensive part of the funeral was the internment, which cost 590-thousand. Other major expenses included private security, renting fans, the lighting, and the baby grand piano, which combined total over 175-thousand. The Jacksons are also paying the Glendale Police Department, which charged more than 175-thousand for their support. There were also other less expensive items like the casket coach and flower van, which only cost a few hundred.
