Tonight Show Star Hits His Head While Taping
"Tonight Show" host Conan O'Brien is expected to be back at work today after an accident on the set of his show sent him to the hospital on Friday. O'Brien hit his head while taping a stunt for late night talk show, halting production, according to an NBC statement. TMZ.com reports O'Brien was taken by ambulance to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and was cracking jokes on the ride over. O'Brien later issued a statement in which he said, quote, "Last thing I remember, I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln and the next thing I knew, I was in bed being served cookies and juice." NBC aired a re-run of the "Tonight Show" on Friday night which was to have featured live guests Teri Hatcher and Seth McFarlane.
