Man Arrested For Beating Up Goose Statue

A Salt Lake City man's recent trip to Minnesota didn't quite go as planned. The "Post-Bulletin" reports that a 28-year-old man was arrested in the town of Rochester for kicking and hitting the statue of a goose. Police witnessed the man strike the statue early Sunday morning, and quickly placed him in handcuffs. The grumpy-goose kicker informed police that he was at a wedding party earlier in the evening, adding that he kicked the statue, quote, "just because it was a goose." The man was later found to have a blood-alcohol content of point-two-four and was placed in detox. The statue is valued at 55-hundred-dollars, but it is not known how much damage the man has done. He has been charged with felony for his drunken antics.
