Joe Nichols' Big Week...

Joe Nichols says he's excited about the two special shows he has coming up. The singer notes, quote, "It just doesn't get any better than this. A performance for a legend like Merle Haggard one night, and then the following day being on the same stage as Natalie Cole, and meeting the Dalai Lama. I'm just a country boy from Rogers, Arkansas. Stuff like this doesn't happen every night." Nichols is slated to salute Haggard as part of the Academy of Country Music's ACM Honors event, taking place at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center Tuesday night. On Wednesday he'll sing his hit "Believers" for the Dalai Lama at The Missing Peace Concert. That event, which also features Cole, will be held at the Cannon Center in Memphis.
