Gretchen Wilson, Billy Joe Shaver Join Farm Aid Concert

Gretchen Wilson and Billy Joe Shaver are among the latest additions to this fall's Farm Aid concert. They're joining a growing lineup for the upcoming event, which also includes Jamey Johnson, Wilco, and singer-songwriter Jason Mraz along with Farm Aid founders Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Neil Young and longtime supporter and board member Dave Matthews. With the 2009 event Wilson is marking her first time as a Farm Aid performer. Shaver's last Farm Aid appearance was at the Randall's Island event in New York City in 2007. This year, Farm Aid is taking place near Wilson's Southern Illinois hometown. The event will make its concert debut in St. Louis, Missouri, with the show set for the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on October 4th.
